Doombull Conversion

I decided to create a Doombull conversion from the AoS Ogroid Myrmidon (which is a probably a very common base to use). The old fantasy Doombull was a big hunk of metal and also fugly and had a weird design for a minotaur (e.g. human like feet but with hoof toes lol):

Look at the feet (left)! What is that?!

I could have assembled the Ogroid as is (face and all) and called it a day, but I wanted to see if I could sculpt or convert a bull like head....

Update (August 2025): I assembled the model as far as I could sans face

(Update Dec 2025): I put this guy on the back burner for a while as I marinated on what to do. I was trying to decide whether to sculpt a bull-like head from scratch or search for something to use as a base. Then it hit me that I had a bunch of chaos horse heads (from the 7th ed Marauder Horsemen kit and the Chaos Chariot) that could be used as a base to sculpt/mod from. All of them are not too far off in scale from the default head of the model.
Plain
- Easy to scrape off bridle details, chop up, and model new ones. Need to model new jaw or cut off the jaw from the rest of the marauder horse.

Armored
- Gives an armored look (give some sort of armor to the model). Ogroid has curved secondary horns already, so either I would have to cut those off or cut off the ones from the horse head. Also already in 2 pieces down the middle so that makes it easier to widen, however the 2 horns on the muzzle have to be cut off and repositioned and/or discarded. Need to model new jaw or cut off the jaw from the rest of the marauder horse.

Horned
- Whole intact head, but has a lot of details to cut around or work around (i.e. rhino horn, mohawk, bridle bits)

(Back in May) I went out and bought some Milliput and 2-part modelling epoxy (aka greenstuff). I've experienced using straight greenstuff before and it tends to still be rubbery and not really sand-able when it cures. The wisdom of the hobbyists on the internet say a roughly equal mix of both the plain gray Milliput and greenstuff makes something that can be sculpted but cures to a texture that can be sanded.
The magic combination...so they say....

Also picked up some silicone tipped sculpting tools and a hobby saw (previously used to cut up ungor arms):
